New Music: Joey and Rory “Cheater, Cheater”

This just in, iTunes perusers – yet another free download worthy of your possession awaits you this week. Husband and wife duo Joey & Rory‘s “Cheater, Cheater” is a rocking bluegrass-style tune fit for fans of songs that sound a heck of a lot cheerier than its message. It definitely bears the potential to bend the ears of those who find themselves jumping on the “everything but country” bandwagon. Clocking in at under three minutes, there’s plenty of enough room to smack down breach of fidelity with lyrics such as “where’d you meet that low-down, uptown, stuck with every guy around, pressed on eyelash, no good white trash ho.”

Joey & Rory got their big break on CMT’s Can You Duet, an American Idol specifically for aspiring country music stars and their hopeful would-be fans. “Cheater, Cheater” is available for downloading here, and the duo’s debut album, “The Life of a Song”, is available for purchase on October 28.
