Frivolities in the News: Paul McCartney’s Head Found!

A homeless man, Anthony Silva, found the missing wax Paul McCartney head we reported on last week. Silva found the head in a trash can in a Reading, England train station and originally thought it was someone’s Halloween mask, only to discover, to his great surprise, that it was actually the missing wax head he had heard about. He returned the head to its owner, Joby Carter, and collected the $4,000 reward.
Unfortunately Silva won’t follow through on my dreamed up use for the head, but at least it was found by someone who really needed the reward money and it wasn’t melted.
