Michael Jackson Says No to Jackson 5 Reunion
By KevinYesterday I posted about a Jackson 5 reunion slated for 2009 confirmed by Jermaine Jackson. Today Reuters is reporting that Michael Jackson is not participating in the reunion.
In a statement released today, Michael Jackson said “My brothers and sisters have my full love and support, and we’ve certainly shared many great experiences, but at this time I have no plans to record or tour with them.” Michael is in the studio working on “new and exciting projects.”
It would seem that there is some communication problems within the Jackson family. I’m sure you’re shocked. Did Jermaine spill the beans too early and is Michael a bit peeved? Did Jermaine get some bad information about Michael’s participation? Is Jermaine using the media to pressure Michael into particpating?
Whatever the deal is, they need to figure it out. I have to say though, a reunion without Michael will be like a Led Zeppelin reunion without Robert Plant. Lame.
