Tilly and the Wall Teaches Sesame Street the Alphabet

Omaha band Tilly and the Wall have joined an elite club. They have become one of few musicians who have appeared on the children’s show Sesame Street.
The band filmed a song for the show that teaches kids the alphabet. It’s a pretty cute video with a bunch of kids running around with letters on their shirts. The band dressed very colorfully, possibly to help with kids’ limited attention spans. Oh, also, in case you were wondering, “A is for apple.” Watch the video after the break.
I haven’t seen Sesame Street since, well, let’s just say it’s been many years, but it seems that they are going indie. The show had Feist on earlier this year. Maybe young kids these days are digging indie rock. If so, I’m all for it.
