Talk about not taking yourself too seriously. Family Force 5 may look like a boy band, but there music sounds closer to NIN or Manson. I think guitarist Derek Mount (aka Chap Stique) says it best when he says, “Listening to Family Force 5 is like lighting a cluster of firecrackers in your mouth…This album provides a connection and an escape, and it’s guaranteed to make your booty shake and your head bang. It’s greasy, slimy and soupy, yet still very slick and shiny at the same time.”
And who said that men in shiny leather jackets in the the desert during the middle of summer aren’t intelligent?
