NEWS: More Michael Jackson craziness
Michael Jackson finally lost Neverland to foreclosure this past week, but the only reason he was able to hold on to it as long as he did was through the generosity of Sheik Abdulla Bin Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince of Bahrain. Now, the Sheik is suing, claiming that Jackson ripped him off and broke the music deal that the two supposedly made. Jackson says that all of the money and things he received from the Sheik were just gifts from a friend, because people just hand out over $7 million to their friends and don’t expect anything in return.
The Sheik thought Jackson would turn him into a celebrity. He built him a recording studio and gave him a safe haven and anything he wanted during Jackson’s legal troubles. Jackson thought he could get away with avoiding recording the Sheik’s songs, but now he may be in big trouble. He should have done what the Sheik wanted. It’s not like he has any sort of reputation to uphold anymore. It’s become a tragedy how much Jackson’s life has fallen apart in the past 20 years.

Not quite true that Jackson has lost neverland. It is owned by a company that Jackson part owns himself.
It is possible that Jackson reneged on their deal but also I’d add that the sheik is no different from countless others who seek to get something out of Jackson whether it’s money, fame or notoriety. It is true that events in Jacksons’ life and his chices over the last 10 years or so have been less than ideal.
