NEWS: of Montreal to Release Jon Brion Remixes
The fantastic musician, songwriter and composer Jon Brion recently took the time to remix some tracks by Athens, GA pop band of Montreal. Now those remixes will be released on an EP in January reports Pitchfork.
The EP is aptly titled Jon Brion Remix EP and will feature two remixes of “First Time High” and three remixes of “Gallery Piece.” Both songs can be found in their original form on the band’s latest album Skeletal Lamping. The Jon Brion Remix EP will be released digitally on January 6 and on CD on January 27.
In other news, of Montreal will bring their wacky stage antics to the Late Show with David Letterman on December 18. Will they bring the horse with them? If you don’t know what that means, check out these photos from a recent New York show.
