NEWS: Boy George on Trial
By Matt Unangst’80s pop superstar Boy George has gone on trial for false imprisonment. His accuser, Audun Carlsen, has claimed that George handcuffed him to a wall and whipped him with a chain in the singer’s Shoreditch, England home. The two men met on a British site named Gaydar, where George invited Carlsen to his home for a photo shoot. When Carlsen arrived, George and another man supposedly attacked him and hancuffed him to a hook on the wall. Carlsen says he escaped by unscrewing the hook and running. While on his way out of the house, he says George whipped him with a chain as he tried to unlock the front door.
This, however, was not the two men’s first encounter. The first time they met, George accused Carlsen of trying to hack his computer, a charge Carlsen denied, but perhaps what led to this bizarre incident.
I don’t really have a comment on this story; I just thought it was important news that couldn’t be missed.
