TOUR UPDATE: Phantom Planet to Perform with The Like in LA

The clock is slowly ticking until Phantom Planet‘s final show on December 12th at the Troubadour, sure to be a bittersweet evening for fans who have followed the band closely throughout the past thirteen years. While there hasn’t been an change in schedule to the band’s indefinite hiatus, those who haven’t yet lifted their heads from tear-stained pillows might want to read on, with eagerness and perhaps slight thrill.
Alex, Darren, Jeff, and Sam will be playing at least one show prior to their last this Friday, December 5th at the Regent Theater (formerly known as Safari Sam’s). They are to be joined by The Like, a very pretty-looking, pretty-sounding band whose brand of charm can make one feel lovely just being an audience member. Should you be fortunate to nab tickets, it’d be best to convince yourself that you didn’t miss a thing, for The Like will also be playing with Phantom Planet at their final show the following week.
