OFFBEAT: Boy George Guilty of False Imprisonment
Continuing a story we reported on two weeks ago, Boy George has been convicted of false imprisonment. A jury believed the story told by Audun Carlsen that George and another man handcuffed him and whipped him with a chain against his will. The key evidence in the trial was a police recording on which George admitted to handcuffing and whipping Carlsen. The judge found that George’s charge that Carlsen had tried to steal information off of his computer was made up to justify George beating Carlsen for refusing to have sex with him during their first meeting.
George has been set free on bail by the judge as he awaits sentencing, which is to take place on January 16. The judge has said that he will put George in jail.
Boy George proves all the crazy people who had bad things to say about him based solely on his appearance right. How are you going to gain acceptance by justifying the fear and paranoia that you are an unnatural freak.
