Gorillaz Earns Title As “Most Popular Band On MySpace”

Gorillaz has earned the title of: Most Popular Band on MySpace” for 2008. The band beat out other popular artists such as Coldplay, Lily Allen, and Oasis to claim the sites top honors.
The site released a list of the top ten artists on the site for the year (based on number of friends) as well as the top 10 videos for the year on MySpace. Taking top video honors this year was Madonna with her video for “4 Minutes.”
