BeatCrave brings you an exclusive interview with Australian drum and bass sensation, Pendulum. If you’ve haven’t heard of them within in the last year, it’s safe to assume you were living under a rock. Starting out as DJs in all genres with a specialization in metal and rock, Pendulum is now a full fledged live rock band riding on top of the Electronica scene.

After wrapping up their first US tour, Pendulum’s own Gareth McGrillen (DJ/bassist) was cool enough to give BeatCrave an interview before they left for Europe. If you’ve yet to experience Pendulum, you’ll definitely want to after this! Check out the scoop below…

lustra08 10 30 New Video: Lustras SCOTTY DOESNT KNOW

Lustra have premiered their new video for “Scotty Doesn’t Know (The Second Coming)” from upcoming album What You Need & What You Get on their MySpace. The video involves the band as a moving crew which destroys the place and a hot real estate agent who apparently dances in school girl outfits in her off time. I like the video…not sure what it has to do with destructive moving crews, but it’s a good excuse to smash things.

Check out the video below the jump and tell us what you think…

frampton08 10 30 Frivolities in the News: Rock Stars Can Be Grumpy Old Men Too

Peter Frampton is angry that all of the kids are stealing the signs off of his lawn.  Frampton, 70s legend of the “talking guitar,” which was cool for a while back then, is mad that someone keeps stealing the Obama signs off his lawn, so mad that he called his local paper, the Cincinatti Enquirer, to offer an interview about the incidents.  He says in the interview that he is mad because he became an American citizen to vote but his rights are now being violated.

uhhuhhersing08 10 30 New Music Video by Uh Huh Her

Check out UH HUH HER’s new fully animated video “Explode” (read BeatCrave interview here). The video was created by Jodi Sandler, a Canadian fan who traveled to Paris for inspiration. The video is beautifully put together and captures the essence of “Explode”–the second single from the group’s Nettwerk debut album COMMON REACTION. The clip is dreamy, imaginative, and provocative clip. The use of reds, whites, and blacks, captures the sexuality of the song perfectly.
