Daily Complaint: News in Douchebaggery

While it has long been rumored, a CBS spokeswoman confirmed yesterday that the network was indeed proceeding with plans to produce a talk show hosted by John Mayer. CBS did not release any other details about the show, which is sure to be one of the worst in the history of television, rivaled in talk show history only by the train wreck that was The Magic Hour.

Besides being a douchebag, does John Mayer even have a big enough name to bring in any sort of audience for a show?  He’s famous enough to demand a pretty big salary for the show, but not famous or funny enough to actually make people watch it.
