Paste Presents An Indie Rock Alphabet Book
Paste Magazine has now decided to dip their toes into the book publishing pool with An Indie Rock Alphabet Book. The book teaches kids the alphabet in a unique way by using indie rock references and rhymes. For example: “A: Animal Collective is one weird band, but weird tastes good with Strawberry Jam.” We’ll accept it for the tongue-in-cheek.
The book is written by Paste’s own Caren Kelleher, Kate Kiefer and Rachael Maddux. You can buy the book for only $12.95 or you can just check it out here and see what they’ve come up for each letter.
Why does everyone keep making fun of Paste Magazine? They do a pretty good job balancing the mainstream and indie music and if you look at the glass half full, it’s better to give some solid knowledge to the completely unaware.
Would you get this book for a kid or for yourself?
