The Garden Party: EXITMUSIC

THE GARDEN PARTY: EXITMUSIC – Interview from The Garden Party on Vimeo.
BeatCrave presents the fourth installment of The Garden Party series featuring EXITMUSIC.
It’s a rare thing for the thermometer to read 40 degrees in California, as it did for this Garden Party. The only thing keeping the winds from blowing right through us was the warm hum of EXITMUSIC‘s sound.
Aleksa Palladino, Devon Church, and David McFarland braved brittle fingers to bring us these layered songs, which lead us on a slow drive down Sunset to take in life’s slide show. Theirs is the not music to take with you… it anchors you in your seat, asking that you just sit for a moment (or several moments in the case of the seven-minute set closer, Sparks of Light) and ponder things for a moment.
As always, EXITMUSIC also sat for a brief chat with us which features original artwork completed live during the taping by the band’s friend, artist Todd DiCiurcio.
Enjoy! And please leave a comment and let us know what you think.
