Pendulum announces their American tour, Fischerspooner is set to release Entertainment later this year, and Mastodon reveals the artwork of their album and streams a free track online, all in the following round up:
- Drum n’ Bass legends Pendulum have announced a tour of the US and Canada, kicking off on March 6 in Vancouver. The band will hit Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles with their heavy ‘bass drops’, stopping at SXSW in Austin, TX and finishing the tour with Bloc Party, The Ting Tings, and The Prodigy at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami. - After unsuccessful album Odessey, Fischerspooner was dropped from EMI Music and now resides at the indie label Lo Recordings, which will release’s third album, Entertainment, on May 4th, 2009. The album features two singles released previously by the Kitsuné label last year, eight new tracks, and is engineered by Jeff Saltzman, who previously produced The Killers. [Resident Advisor]
- Mastodon has revealed the cover art for their soon to be released album Crack The Skye, done by Paul Romano. The album doesn’t have a confirmed release date, but is expected this Spring.
