New Music Video: U2′s Get On Your Boots

U2 is back with a video for their single, “Get On Your Boots.” We’re pretty sure that the band’s hardcore fans are excited for pretty much everything that has to do with New Line on the Horizon, but what about this video? Not only does it have similar elements to the Killers’ new video, “Spaceman” (the space and the skull theme) but there is a ton going on. Videos may be getting cooler with special effects these days, but they also continue to make less sense.

However, according to Hot Press, here’s what The Edge thought:

It’s based around the idea that men have fucked things up so badly, politically, economically and socially that it’s really time we handed things over to women. We had our doubts when we saw a rough cut – but the finished video is brilliant. He’s really nailed it.
