Video: Conan O’Brien Chooses White Stripes For Last Show

By

Last night was the last time Conan would be airing at the late night slot. It was bittersweet to watch, but when he’s finally on an hour earlier during the tonight slot in June, we’ll all be a little happier. Conan was making a pretty big deal about this as well, and he was careful when it came to choosing his musical guest for this last show.

After Conan called them “good friends for many years,” The White Stripes appropriately played “We Are Going To Be Friends” to close out the show. There weren’t any drums (oh well), but Meg wasn’t really impressive on the guitar playing either. Watch the video for yourself and let us know what you think.

Was the performance perfect or tragically lackluster?
