I wonder how much the age factor comes into it when i was 14 I was into the sex pistols today i'd much rather something much more mellow. I also doubt many teens would be into classical music now but could well be by the time they're 50.

so classical and jazz fans are below average . That makes PERFECT sense because MANY studies proves that affirmation absolutely wrong .

Very interesting insights. I don't believe that music makes you dumber. If anything, it makes you smarter! If you really learn how to listen and listen very deeply to everything you are hearing, you are activating many parts of the brain at once. This is great for keeping your mind young and your memory sharp.
