Depeche Mode, Beastie Boys, and Jane’s Addiction are said to be a “lock in” by the Chicago Tribune. However, Billboard has reported Kings of Leon as a possible headliner as well. Check out the speculations below…

Billboard:

Kings of Leon will be among the headliners of both this year’s Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits festivals, Billboard sources have confirmed. Depeche Mode, the Beastie Boys, and Jane’s Addiction are also playing Lollapalooza, which takes place in Chicago’s Grant Park Aug 7–9, the Chicago Tribune reports and Billboard’s sources confirm. Both events are produced by Austin, Texas-based C3 Productions.

Chicago Tribune:

Depeche Mode, the Beastie Boys and a reunited Jane’s Addiction are expected to headline the fifth annual Lollapalooza Aug. 7–9 in Grant Park.

Though promoters would not confirm the information Friday, multiple sources inside the industry said the three headliners are a lock for the festival. Three more arena-level headliners are expected to be included when the complete lineup is announced next month.
