Family Force 5: BeatCrave Fav

With influences like Prince, The Beastie Boys, Foo Fighters, Rage Against the Machine, and many urban artists from the south, Family Force 5 has gradually created its niche in the music world. Their crunk rock style created through over-the-top musical tones and creative “rap” causes concert-goers and reviewers alike to dance at every one of their shows. Though the band is relatively new (their first album was released in 2006 and their first EP was released in 2004), their musical roots extend far back, as three of the members are sons of Jerome Olds, an artist from the 1980s.

Family Force 5 are currenty signed to EMI’s Tooth & Nail Records and are on tour alongside 3OH!3 and The Maine on Alternative Press’s AP Tour. Check out Family Force 5 below, and if you like their sound as much as we do, vote for them in Friday’s poll!
