Recently on Canada’s public CBC Radio, Billy Bob Thornton had an interview that couldn’t help but remind listener’s of some of the recent appearances made by Joaquin Phoenix. Now, I’m not sure if they messed with the editing, changed the questions, or in some way tweaked the interview to exploit Billy Bob Thornton, but it sure does like look Thornton is not quite with it in this interview. In fact, I would wager that he got up to something the night before and this is the residue.
At first the fact that they always have an edit between the question and the answer makes me believe that this is a fake, but then you just have to listen to Thorton talk endless to know that even if this has been edited, he still had to be under the influence of something.

If he wants to talk about music, why does he keep bringing up film? And I know that he wants to focus on his music career, but isn’t that what the interviewer is going?

oh Billy Bob, why are you so awkward?
Apparently, his handlers told the interviewer, Jian Gomeshi, to not mention about his past film career and in the introduction, Jian made mention of it briefly and that set Billy into that ignorant state. I know journalists can be dicks, but Jian was a pro. It's true, this band would be nothing without Billy Bob. Dog Star anyone? 30 Seconds To Mars?
Billy being Billy. He obviously chose to answer the way he did. He's just a bit better than common foke. Too bad they can't drug test proir to inteviews.
Thorton is an idiot... Egotistical idiot... Temper Temper Little Man Try and Catch it if you can!!!! Wasn't particularly interested in your career before - even less so now!!!

Wow, what a grump! He sure doesn't like Canada "Mashed Potatos without the Gravy?" Wow, way to go Billy... of course your band wouldn't have an audience at all if it weren't for your movie career. Jeez.

He is not justice to himself.
Seems to me Billy Bob is not fully awake at 6am. His friends looked so uncomfortable with Billy's behavior, they looked like they were a million miles away during this interview. Thornton is noted for his frequent bizaar, eccentric behavior.
