While a little bit low on indie rock tickets this weekend, if your interested in avant-guard metal or stadium rock then this on sale list is for you. Pull up a chair and check it out.
Complex, avant-guard metalers Isis have announced a US tour in support of the release of their upcoming release “Wavering Radiant”. Supporting the band on their tour is the always awesome post-metal instrumental band Pelican and doom metal artists Tombs. Think of this as the thinking man’s metal tour. Tickets are on sale this weekend and you can check out the dates here.

After selling out the 90,000 seat Rose Bowl in only a few hours last weekend (not even the Jonas Brothers or Miley Cyrus could do that… well, unless they combined themselves into some sort of Megatron-type tween artist that would take over the world) U2has announced the final dates on their September/ October North American tour. Dates for Raleigh,Dallas, Houston, Norman, Phoenix and Las Vegas all go on sale this weekend (you can check local onsale dates here) and either Muse or The Black Eyed Peas will open depending on where you are. Don’t expect any more dates to be announced for this leg of the tour, but the band will be back next Spring for more stadium dates.

In support of their greatest hits record “Monuments and Melodies”, alternative rockers Incubus will embark on summer tour that will visit amphitheaters throughout the US and Canada. The tour begins July 9th in Chula Vista (San Diego), CA and hits pretty much every major city around the country before finally ending August 25thin Phoenix. British rockers (and one of those bands who are more popular with other bands then with the public) The Duke Spirit will open. You can check dates on the bands Myspace page here and most tickets go on sale this weekend.

A whole bunch of dates for 311′s annual “Summer Unity Tour” go on sale this weekend. Along with 311 playing the same set list they have been playing for the past few summers (we get it: you all play drums) the tour also features reggae rock artists Ziggy Marley and The Expendables. Expect a fun, yet predictable evening. You can check dates and local on sale info here.

Christian pop-punkers Amber Pacific have announced a headlining tour in support of their new “Truth In Sincerity” record. Opening will be Houston Calls, Farewell and Fight Fair. You can check dates here.

As if Isis and Pelican weren’t enough, post-hardcore experimental rock band Tera Melos have also announced a spring US tour. You can check dates here. Also, you can order more black shirts for the occasion here.
