Photos of Yeah Yeah Yeahs at Coachella Music Festival

By early Sunday evening (April 19) at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, festival goers were beginning to show signs of exhaustion. Fans who sweated through an excruciating 15-minute delay for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs‘ much anticipated set looked as if they might drop dead from the heat.But as soon as Karen O swept onto the stage adorned in her blue and green polka-dotted leggings and flamboyant golden top, the crowd was reinvigorated.
Long story short: In a matter of minutes, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs transformed the main stage crowd into a full-blown dance party. Check out some photos from the show below…
The band tapped their latest effort “It’s Blitz!” for at least half the set, but made sure to slip in few classics from “Fever to Tell” and “Show Your Bones.” Highlights included “Black Tongue” and a touching rendition of “Maps“.
