News Roundup: Teddybears Remix, Allison Mosshart, The Killers…
By Allison
Hey BeatCravers! Hope you had a good weekend. Lots of stuff is going on in the music world, so here are some stories you may have missed:
- The Killers are coming out with a live DVD and, surprise, surprise, a cover album! I have faith in these rockers; I can’t wait for either! [Pitchfork]
- You can hear the new Horrors’ album a week early. Be sure to check out footage from their recent cover shoot! [NME]
- Allison Mosshart, singer for the Kills, was hospitalized, but quickly released. She left the stage in a coughing fit halfway through the set. Apparently, it was a mixture of a head cold and breathing recycled airplane oxygen that caused the coughing fit. [Aversion]
- Marilyn Manson loves going for the shock effect, but apparently the Teddybears have one upped him this time. For his album “Arma-Goddamn-Motherfuckin-Geddon” the Teddybears have remixed his new single. Listen to it below the jump, it’s pretty good…
