swine flu cancels concerts in mexico gets its own song

The Swine Flu outbreak has prompted the Mexican government to issued advisories against all public events in Mexico City and other parts of the country. Live music performances are being postponed in response to schools being closed nationwide until May 6. Ticketmaster’s Mexican web site listed concerts of Alejandro Fernandez, Marco Antonio Solís, Los Lobos and Alejandra Guzman as cancelled, and Mexican acts Los Temerarios, K-Paz de la Sierra and Pancho Barraza have been rescheduled to take place in Anaheim, California.

The repercussions are numerous, but for Stephan Zielinski of San Francisco, California, the Swine Flu has inspired a musical composition. He assigned a different instrument to each of the categories of amino acids that constitute the virus’ genome, and created a melody by giving notes to the individual amino acids. Listen to the track, after the jump:

Zielinski explains that “the gene is expressed as a surface protein antibodies can sense, it’s considered as a string of amino acids. Each beat corresponds to one amino acid, and the piece is in 3/4 time.” He said that the song was done entirely with a computer and took about six hours on Tuesday.

The ambient music is no compensation for the promoters and band managers that are being forced to reschedule shows across Mexico and, unfortunately, it brings the human body no closer to recognizing the virus as dangerous. Zielinkski regretted that “although the [genome] map is there and you can even make a song out of it, we can’t explain it to these itty bitty little cells in [our] body.”

Do you like the song, or does it just give you symptoms?

KissyGirls for charity: Help the people and pigs in the world. The LATEST DUTCH BAND (KissyGirls) to bust out: PRESENTS their NEW "MEXICAN FLU" Song and Video Clip. KissyGirls latest vocal glamourizes Mexican Flu. Also know as: swine flu

The producers of Hollands newest and hottest talent, KissyGirls, know that this single could lead to a strong debate regarding the lyrics. Of course, everyone involved does not wish to give this impression, that the Mexican Flu is not taken seriously. Precisely, the producers, do take this issue very seriously.

Everyone knows this is a hot topic. People are regularly confronted with dismal scenarios, (by the media), about what can happen with Chicken Flu, Swine Flu, H1N1, etc.

This PRESS RELEASE is to advise you that we, (the people) do not need to fear pigs. To date no research has shown that pigs are the direct cause of this latest disease.

The name of this Flu has been poortly chosen, resulting in thousands of innocent pigs to be exterminated, worldwide.

These events have stimulated KissyGirls to record a great single.

The concept KissyGirls was borne in 2009, due to the fact, which; it is ridiculous that you need to wear a surgical mask if you are in a public place. It is common when having sex to protect yourself against diseases that can be transmitted. Actually you should not even shake a person's hand without wearing gloves.

Very soon, an innocent "KISS" will be taboo!

Lots of musical (hit sensitive) singles are going to be produced on the "kissing" theme. This, new rage, video clip will inspire a heightened meaning to (the use of) surgical masks! In the street and in the clubs, it will be totally hip in 2009.

Here is the first big summer hit! The KissyGirls with their song Mexican Flu

KissyGirls for charity: Help the people and pigs in the world.

The producers of KissyGirls intend to donate a percentage of the proceeds from the sales (of these tunes) on this KissyGrils Original Single to research and distribution of information in the fight against Mexican Flu. We will also distribute information abroad to save thousands of pigs from being recklessly and brutaly exterminated.

This will be done in cooperation with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs. We would like to contribute to their research, which could save the lives of millions of people in third world countries if this breaks out into a pandemic, purely because there will be no drugs available.

Support KissyGirls.nl with a small contribution of Euro 1,99 for downloading Mexican Flu; then we all will have contributed, to giving people a chance to survive the flu.

What should you know about Mexican Flu?

    1. How did the Mexican flu or swine flu " develop?

That is still a mystery. Mexican flu is a mix of human flu, bird flu and swine flu. It is possible that this new virus developed in pigs because they are carriers of three viruses, and subsequently transferred it to humans.

However, it all remains very uncertain because no single pig has been diagnosed with this flu. The term swine flu is therefore a hasty term.

2 Can we still eat pork?

Yes, there is no reason to believe that pork or derived products from pork, on the store shelves, are contaminated with this flu virus. There is also no risk in coming into contact with pigs. The food agencys, however, have called on veterinarians and pig farmers to remain alert.

The answer to the mexican Flu. The Kissy Girls !!
