311 has just released their new music video for their single “Hey You” this morning on Yahoo! Music. This just gets me even more excited for 311′s upcoming album Uplifter, out June 2. This is the band’s ninth studio album since debuting in the early 1993 with Music.

“Hey You” is the opening track to the new album, which was produced by Bob Rock. The song is 311′s ode to music, and it boasts some of the band’s trademark vocal melodies (delivered by Nick Hexum and SA Martinez) set to a powerful, groove-laced rhythm (Courtesy of guitarist Tim Mahoney, bassist P-Nut, and drummer Chad Sexton).

311 will be embarking on its annual Summer Unity Tour soon, and joining them on most dates are Ziggy Marley and The Expendables.  Dates can be found here.
