Pearl Jam to Play on Conan

June 1st marks the night, Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, Mike McCready and Matt Cameron also known as Pearl Jam, help inaugurate late night funnyman Conan O’Brien as he replaces Jay Leno as host of NBC’s The Tonight Show. Pearl Jam, who has been described as “modern rock,” will be performing songs off of their unfinished and as-of-yet untitled album. The new album will be the 9th for the band, first in three years. The band that was formed in Seattle,WA in 1990, will follow their The Tonight Show performance with a summer tour throughout August (tour dates listed below).
The Last two performance will take place at Outside Lands Festival, which will include big names such as Dave Mathews Band, Beastie Boys and Black Eyed Peas and the Austin City Limits featuring acts such as Ben Harper, Arctic Monkeys, L.A.X., among others. In the mean time, be sure to watch Pearl Jam perform on The Tonight Show in Conan’s debut as host. Also on the show will be Will Ferrell.
