In my view, we are only at the tip of the iceburg as to what can be done to give artsit the ability to easliy sell their music and to also have their fans sell it for them. I also do not think that helping those in need and selling an artistic creation are seperate actvitievs. I think that an artisst if they choose should have the option of giving a portion of thier revenue to a non profit orginaztion of their choice. I m a musican as well as a technologist, and I have built a system that does this above. The site can be used today, and it is open source so artist and labels can use what extened and customize what I have built. My first album will be relased on itunes on July 13th.
