Viva Voce: BeatCrave Fav

Viva Voce (translated, “living voice,” in case you were wondering), formed in 1998 and have been towing the indie rock line managing to stay just off the radar enough to keep them cool while simultaneously picking up legions of fans with every live show. Having moved from state to state and label to label, Viva Voce finally settled in Portland, Oregon (a town that suits their mellow yet psychedelic sound) and currently makes sweet noise with Barsuk Records. If you haven’t had the opportunity to check out Viva Voce, you are in for one hell of a treat. If you’ve been lucky enough to catch them live or listen to one of their albums on a weekend road trip then you already know: They are, in every way, worthy of being inducted into our BeatCrave Fav series!
