Kate Moss Sends New Kills Music To Watery Grave

It’s always nice to start off the week with a Kate Moss music murder story. It appears the free-spirited supermodel destroyed her musician boyfriend’s laptop by throwing it into a swimming pool.

On the surface it reads like another ho-hum, gossipy episode starring Moss. But when the boyfriend in question is Kills guitarist Jamie Hince and the laptop in question contained six new tunes he’d been working on for a new album, which he hadn’t saved anywhere else, well, you have the makings of a big day for the tabloids.

While on vacation and relaxing at a presumably awesome hotel, the twosome apparently got into an argument, which, obviously, ended with Moss flinging Hince’s bag into a swimming pool.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper:

“Kate and Jamie started bickering out of nowhere and the row quickly escalated. She stalked off outside and, before he had a chance to react, Kate grabbed his bag and threw it into the pool. Unfortunately it contained his laptop, Blackberry and personal diary.”

Like any dedicated artist Hince dove right into the pool and tried to salvage his work. Alas, he was too late. Multiple sources are reporting a barrage of foul-language followed.

Maybe Moss just hates the Kills. Maybe she heard the demos and this was her way of telling her guy he can do better. Rock stars and models – it’s crazy!

In the end, the demo drowning hasn’t damaged the rock n’ roll love affair; the two have since patched things up, and word is Moss has pledged to buy Hince a new laptop.
