Tribute bands, no. I'm not opposed to tribute bands, but I'm not going to be the first to jump on one of their albums. Covers at least leave the impression that there is some original music within an artist. An unconventional arrangement of a song that just works is also admirable; but I wouldn't follow a band that follows a band almost copy-cat like in musical style. Covers, yes. Tribute bands, no.
