Mary Wilson, Coner Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band (above), and Arrested Development are just some of the names of the performers that will take stage at this years Sunset Junction.  The Junction takes place in an area in Los Angeles that is known for its diverse community that includes people from different generations, different ethnic backgrounds and different sexual orientations.  This Junction is a place where people as different as can be, come together and enjoy music and other festivities in harmony.

Bringing good times and good vibes to The Sanborn Stage on Saturday, August 22 is one of reggae’s most prolific duo’s, Sly & Robbie and on Sunday August 23, two-time Grammy -award winning alternative hip-hop group Arrested Development as well as:

The 29th annual Sunset Junction Street Fair is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday August 22 & 23 on Sunset Boulevard in the Silver Lake District of Los Angeles. It will go from 11AM – 11PM on Saturday and 11AM – 10PM on Sunday. Admission is $15 if you buy in advance and $20 for day of  the show (tickets will be available at the gates entering the show), and free for children 12 and under and seniors 65 +.

If you are in the neighborhood on those days, you should go check out the nationally recognized event.  There will be artisan and food booths, the fair will include a carnival midway and three stages which cater to a wide range of musical tastes from rock, pop, R&B, soul, Latin and dance.
