Under $10
- Guns N’ Roses – Greatest Hits | $9.97
- Modest Mouse – Good News For People Who Love Bad News | $9.97
- Nine Inch Nails – With Teeth | $9.97
- Jimi Hendrix – Are You Experienced | $9.99
Are You Experienced? is the debut album by the rock band The Jimi Hendrix Experience, back in the 60s. To me, it is one of the best records of all time; it includes songs like Purple Haze, Hey Joe and Fire. Modest Mouse is on tour right now, and it’ll be a solid idea to refresh you memory with some of their older tracks, just in case you decide to go to a show.
$10 – $15
- Radiohead – Hail To Thief | $14.99
- Wilco – Yankee Hotel Foxtrot | $10.97
- Band of Horses – Cease To Begin | $13.99
- The Flaming Lips – Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots | $12.99
Wilco‘s album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is their best selling album for many reasons; it has this earthy psychedelic feel to it like no other, and the songs tell great stories. Aside from In Rainbows, Hail To Thief is also one of my favorite Radiohead albums; songs’ like There There and 2+2=5 serve as a gateway to the soul.

- Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears – Tell ‘Em What Your Name Is! | $7.99
- Metallica – Metallica (The Black Album) | $7.99
- Beastie Boys – License To Ill | $7.97
- Sohodolls – Ribbed Music For The Numb Generation | $8.99
I remember going to Amoeba sometime in February in desperate search for the Sohodolls debut CD, but to my surprise the music store that’s suppose to have everything didn’t have it and so I had to download it off of Amazon, and I haven’t felt disappointed yet. If you haven’t heard of the Sohodolls, they’re a British electro band, and usually i won’t say this about electro, but they are good. License To Ill is also a great album by the Beastie Boys and a must have in your collection.
Which will you buy?
