There’s a bunch of new additions to this summer’s Latitude Festival.

BAFTA presents director Stephen Frears for a Q&A session, where actor David Morrissey will interview him. Director Frears is best known for his work on films like The Queen, The Grifters, Prick Up Your Ears, My Beautiful Laundrette and High Fidelity.

Also, singer-songwriter Dev Hynes (AKA Lightspeed Champion) will perform songs by Cat Stevens from the soundtrack to the 1971 cult film Harold and Maude at a special performance.

That soundtrack to the Hal Ashby comedy-drama includes classics like “If You Want 0To Sing Out, Sing Out” and “Don’t Be Shy.”

Joining the Cabaret Arena line-up are Phil Nichol, David Hoyle, The Voguettes, DJ Glitterbanditz, The La De Dahs, and Nathan Evans. Comedians Robin Ince, Glen Wool, and Tom Stade are the latest additions to the line-up of mirth in the Comedy Arena.

BAFTA Chief Executive Amanda Berry said:

“BAFTA is delighted to be returning for a third year to the fantastic Latitude Festival. This year’s line-up of events demonstrates the range and versatility of British filmmakers and will appeal to everyone who loves film. Latitude is an excellent platform for BAFTA to fulfil its mission of helping audiences access industry expertise and celebrate excellence in film, television and video games.”
