Michael Jackson Video Tribute by PB Wolf
By Morelli
Shortly after Michael Jackson’s death was reported, video jockey Peanut Butter Wolf did a set of video remixes of the pop singer’s most memorable videos live at the Echoplex in Los Angeles.
Wolf spliced the clips together artfully, and shows some of Michael Jackson’s best dance moves over the years. The second and third parts of the tribute have some creative remixes of MJ’s funkier beats, so check out all 30 minutes of PB Wolf’s live VJ set after the jump:
Check out the remixes in part two:
A Michael Jackson Pepsi commercial leads into live footage:
The VJ set was recorded live, and Wolf says it was “prepared and performed a few hours after hearing the news of his passing on 6/25/09 and is in NO WAY COMPREHENSIVE of all of Michael’s brilliant work.”
A truly complete tribute to Michael Jackson may be impossible, but I thought PB Wolf’s remixes spanned the decades of material quite well. Which videos would you include?
