No Public Viewing at Neverland Ranch

Fans flocked to Los Olivos where Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch is located in hopes of seeing the music legend one last time. By Tuesday night, more than 30 TV news trucks parked outside the gates of Neverland Ranch thinking a public memorial service would take place the next morning. Unfortunately, they did not get the memo: The Jackson family has confirmed that there will be no public or private memorial service for Michael Jackson at his Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara this weekend.

Hotel rooms were booked all around the area. Jessica Larsen, the hotel general manager for Fess Parker’s Wine Country Inn said they were sold out in twenty minutes.

“It was first media and then after about an hour, the fans were calling in…There’s been quite a few people calling, even internationally.”

In the meantime, a statement was released from the Jackson family:

“Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly.”

So we will have to wait and see when and where exactly the viewing and burial will take place. We will keep you posted.
