Pablove Foundation Benefit Show Tonight In LA
By Seraphina L.
If you live in the Los Angeles area, BeatCrave strongly encourages you to go to The Pablove Foundation Benefit show at The Echo tonight.
For those of us who follow our local music community on the Eastside of Los Angeles, we were very sad to hear that Pablo Thrailkill Castelaz – the six year-old son of Dangerbird co-founder Jeff Castelaz – had passed away this past Monday. Pablo was diagnosed with bilateral wilms tumor, a very rare form of pediatric cancer. With the help of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, a place that treats everyone regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay, Castelaz and his family were moved to start a charity foundation that is now called The Pablove Foundation. This foundation directly supports the pediatric community in and around the CHLA.
Tonight, Avi Buffalo along with Eulogies, Bad Veins, and A Decent Animal is putting on a benefit show. All proceeds will go directly to the foundation and CHLA. Avi Buffalo was recently featured in our Know Your LA Bands series, and we can’t commend them enough for supporting a great cause. See more info for tonight below. If you aren’t from the area, you can still help out by donating here.
