Honestly, I dont think there will be another King of music, period. For one thing, music tastes are too fractured nowadays;there's way too many genres and no way anyone nowadays could appeal broadly to the masses. Id like to think there would somehow be another, but I seriously doubt it. The music industry is also very manufactured now;too much soft porn that unfortunately gets passed off as "talent" because it looks good wearing next to nothing. I mean, when is the last time u watched a music video then listened to the song on iTunes and realized the song isnt any good? That never happened with MJ. There'll never be another King of Pop, or Rock for that matter, although we'll now see TONS of poor imitations.
