Jack White’s newest band, The Dead Weather, released its debut album Horehound today, and you can listen to the entire album for free right now on iLike.com. The album was supposed to be available for only 24 hours yesterday (June 12), but the songs are still there, so enjoy!
Besides Jack White, The Dead Weather is Alison Mosshart of The Kills, guitarist Dean Fertita of Queens of the Stone Age and bassist Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes. Watch the music video for the album’s fifth track, Treat Me Like Your Mother:
Directed by Jonathan Glazer, whose work includes music videos for Massive Attack, Radiohead and Jamiroquai. The stark colors and scenario compliment the music, and it was thoughtful to synchronize the beat to the rifle shots when White and Mosshart start shooting.
