Gary Go Performs With Only His iPhone

UK’s Gary Go composed one of the first songs ever via Twitter after he spotted a heart-shaped balloon entangled in a tree outside him house. Go began compiling fan-submitted lyrics and bang, music was born. After obtaining all of the lyrics Go decided to compose it on his iPhone, and earlier this month, Go performed at the Wembley Stadium to 70,000 people with only his iPhone in hand.

The title of the first song was The Heart Balloon, but Go didn’t stop at that, he has written several tracks for his first album using software downloaded to the his phone. He has recreated drums, guitars piano and horns sounds with a virtual four-track recording studio that was installed on his iPhone.

Go’s self-titled album will be released on September 15 with the Decca Label Group.
