Poll: Is Russell Brand A Good Choice As Host For VMAs

Russell Brand has the honor of hosting the MTV Video Music Awards for the second year in a row. The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star hosted the show last year to so-so reviews.
Although, Russell Brand was very funny in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and happens to be pretty darn attractive, he may not be the best choice for hosting the show. Many award ceremonies have a tendency to feel forced and contrived and his humor doesn’t really translate to a broad US audience; his sort of deadpan humorcan get lost.

The VMAs will air on September 13 from New York’s Radio City Music Hall.
MTV has also announced that Taylor Swift will perform at the ceremony. The complete list of performers and nominees for the award show has not been released at this time. Who are you hoping to see?
