The Beastie Boys Release Limited 12″ Single
By Laura AguirreWe all got the sad news yesterday that Adam Yauch of The Beastie Boys has cancer and that their tour and upcoming album has been postponed. If you’re looking for a bit of remembrance, you can now pre-prder the limited pressing of 5,000 12″ singles of the surprise performance between the Hip-Hop trio, The Beastie Boys and rapper Nas from this year’s Bonnaroo festival.
The single was recorded at the festival when Nas joined the trio on stage to perform a new track titled Too Many Rappers from the forthcoming album Hot Sauce Committee, due to hit the stores this fall.
This limited edition 12″ record is a return to old school values with the Beastie Boys releasing their new music in a vinyl format before it goes on a CD and digitally. This is one for the ages (of Hip Hop that is). The exclusive 12″ is now in stores.
