Daft Punk Will Tour In Support of Tron Legacy Soundtrack
By Seraphina L.
Hey, all you hardcore Daft Punk fans! We’ve got some awesome news for you even if you’re not into the whole Comic-Con craze that’s going on right now.
Remember when we reported that Daft Punk was hired by Disney to score Tron 2.0 – now called Tron Legacy – back in May? Well according to Movieline, while Director Joseph Kosinski was at Comic-Con earlier today, he stated that Daft Punk will, in fact, be touring with the soundtrack! Now that’s exciting because it’s rare for a band to tour in support of a mere soundtrack and even better when it’s one of the most famous electronic acts in the world doing it.
Kosinsiki’s meeting with Daft Punk in LA seems to have played out like a dream to get that kind of publicity and promotion for his film. His meeting with the electronic duo also supposedly took place at a “mysterious pancake breakfast in L.A.” and they were wearing their HELMETS. Perhaps those helmets are magic – or at least magic when it comes to omelet consumption. Let’s hope all of this pans out!
