Under $10
- Neil Young – Greatest Hits | $8.99
- The Velvet Underground – Loaded | $6.97
- The Ramones – Ramones | $6.97
- Eels – Daises of the Galaxy | $7.97
What can I say? The Ramones for less than seven dollars is a must. Loaded is also a great album by The Velvet Underground, who is one of my favorite bands of all time. It also can’t hurt to have Neil Young‘s greatest hits in your collection.
$10 – $15
- The Who – Who’s Next | $10.97
- The Rolling Stone – Out of Our Heads | $10.97
- Cardigans – First Band on the Moon | $10.97
- Gaslight Anthem – The ’59 Sound | $12.98
The first time I saw the Gaslight Anthem, I was waiting for Lykke Li to come to the stage (at Coachella). To my surprise, the band was really good. The four-way band is all male, but their new album is great and worth it. Also in this list, we have some great classics: The Who, The Rolling Stone, Cardigans, need I say more?

Under $10
- The Dead Weather – Horehound | $8.99
- Grizzly Bear – Veckatimest | $8.99
- Regina Spektor – Far | $9.99
- The Mars Volta – Octahedron | $8.91
Once I disliked the Mars Volta, not because I thought their music was bad (it is was and is good music), but their musical fusion was just too rowdy for my taste. But along came Octahedron and the Mars Volta blew me away — this is the duo at their softest, it is their acoustic album and it is amazing. Regina Spektor‘s Far is more mature than her previous albums, but still unique in every way.
Which will you buy?
