Michael Jackson Michael Jacksons Doctor Gave Him Deadly Dose

It is now being reported that Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, allegedly gave the singer an anesthetic drug to help him sleep just after midnight on the day he died, resulting in cardiac arrest.

Murray, 51, gave Jackson propofol the night before he died, an unnamed law enforcement official told the Associated Press. The doctor apparently injected propofol to Jackson regularly; the drug is intended only for medical anesthetic use and not as a sleeping aid.

According to court papers, Murray was the one who called emergency services after finding Jackson unconscious at his home.  Police are investigating Murray for possible manslaughter charges. Murray’s lawyer, Edward Chernoff, has insisted that the doctor didn’t prescribe anything that killed Jackson.

Toxicology reports ordered by the Los Angeles coroner might be available later this week.
