Eels Offer Free Music Downloads
By Krystal Clark
I don’t know about you, but whenever I see free and music in the same sentence I get apprehensive. What does that really mean? Well, here’s a deal that’s legit and won’t ensure you jail time. Have you ever heard of MySpace Transmissions? It’s a series of digital EP’s that includes four to seven songs that can be streamed or downloaded for your listening pleasure.
In this case you’ve got the opportunity to download music from Eels front man Mark Oliver Everett aka E. More on the offer below.
You can watch footage of E being interviewed and performing five songs, and download the audio for all of them FREE for a limited time. All you have to do is visit the official MySpace Transmissions page. The complete session will also be available on limited edition 12″ vinyl starting on September 1st.
Is it just me or is all the good stuff dropping this fall? You just got the heads up on how to get some free music, before it hits stores so I would jump on that if I were you. The only plus side to buying the album later has to do with it’s packaging, and the fact that you get the bonus track entitled, “The Longing.” I know it’s not exactly Sophie’s Choice, but it’s something to think about.
Are you interested in some free musics from Eels artist, Mark Oliver Everett?
