Britney Spears Mocked on David Letterman – So Sad

It doesn’t get more pathetic than Britney Spears, the child actress turned teen pop princess turned crazed mother is now trying to rectify her reputation and prove that she’s not fat. That and maybe tickets sales are hurting for this round of her Circus Tour or maybe she just hasn’t been in the media enough lately. Last night, David Letterman added fuel to the Britney bandwagon and had the bikini-clad Spears on for the “Top Ten Ways The World Would Be Different If Britney Spears Were President” only to mock her once there.

If you’re going to have her on exploiting herself at least do it without adding fuel to the fire. She’s gone beyond being someone you can mock because she tries to mock herself, but as you can tell from the way she can’t quite sit still, she doesn’t get it and she’s not comfortable doing it.

Finally what seemed to be her reason for appearing on late night television, “The media would pay some attention to me” you get a laugh, but I’m not sure if it’s at her or with her.

Who knows, this is probably just the forerunner for a Britney Spears reality TV show. It’s gotta be in the works. Hell, maybe she’ll even run for President. You all remember Mary Carey, right?
