Daughtry Arena Tour Dates

Chris Daughtry and his self-titled rock band Daughtry are hitting the road. According to Yahoo, they’ve announced the dates for their upcoming arena tour. You heard right, their arena tour. The group has been playing a string of smaller venues as of late and are about to expand big time. Find out more on Daughtry’s North American tour below.

In promotion of their successful album Leave This Town. Daughtry is planning on hitting up some larger spaces for their upcoming performances. According to the singer, “It’s the first time where we actually get to use some big production,” he said, “so maybe some pyro, who knows. It would be kind of fun to mess around with that.” Pyro? Oh no Chris! The expanded leg of their tour starts on October 19th in Topeka, Kansas and ends on December 20th in Evansville, Indiana.

It looks like they’ll wrap up the tour just in time for Christmas. Daughtry is one of the few acts besides Kelly Clarkson that I actually like from American Idol. I’m not really a fan of that show, but every once in a while they produce some real talents. I think it’s hilarious that he didn’t even win his season though. Isn’t that ironic?
