Listen To Quentin Tarantino’s Personal Playlist On Sirius XM
By Jeffrey Hyatt
With all the Quentin Tarantino news and commentary today surrounding the release of his new film, Inglourious Basterds, SIRIUS XM will add to the media mayhem by featuring the Academy Award-winning filmmaker with a special show this afternoon.
Music has always played a big part in Tarantino’s seven films, and today (Aug. 21) at 3 p.m. on Little Steven’s Underground Garage (Sirius channel 25 and XM channel 59) Tarantino will share with radio listeners his personal music playlist.
The writer/director has put together quite an eclectic show, which he will personally host; expect songs from David Bowie, Jay-Z, Andy Kim, Britney Spears, Barbra Streisand and KT Tunstall – among others.
Check the complete Tarantino playlist below.
“[This list includes]. . .some of the music I was listening to while making my movie Inglourious Basterds,” said Trantino. “Now these songs don’t necessarily have a damn thing to do with the movie. These were some of the ones I was listening to in my off time.”
Tarantino’s playlist will also be rebroadcast on SIRIUS XM’s Underground Garage channel on Friday, August 21 at 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm; and Saturday, August 22 at 3:00 am.
Inglourious Basterds stars Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, B.K. Novak, Mike Myers, Cloris Leachman, Christoph Waltz, Diane Kruger and Julie Dreyfus.

Steve Poltz's cover of "Waterfalls" is the best – great list of songs.

I'd actually like to know where I can find the video he refers to of compiled Friday the 13th death scenes to Orbison's "There Won't Be Many Coming Home"… I can't find it on youtube for the life of me!
